Passenger Car and Light Truck (PCLT) Warranty Coverage
When used in normal service conditions and in accordance with the maintenance recommendations and safety warnings from the manufacturer, all PCLT tyres purchased through the program are covered by the tyre manufacturers. This warranty covers manufacturing defects, workmanship, materials, and recalls. These warranties are valid for:
Six (6) years –from the date of purchase OR The usable legal life span of the tyre (tread not lower than 1.6mm or tyre tread above wear indicators)
Whichever of the two comes first.
Damage due to road hazards including impacts, cuts, scrapes, and rubbing
Any damage that has occurred during the tyre fitting process
Incorrect tyre fitting including the use of incompatible products during the fitting process
Tyres fitted to a wheel and tyre assembly that:
Is not properly balanced
Has high vertical or horizontal run out
Is not properly mounted to a vehicle
Incorrect tyre pressures: over or under inflationConditions where the tyre has been operated below the specified load and speed ratings applicable to the vehicle
Irregularities in the mechanical components of the vehicle such as improper wheel alignment or mechanical issues arising from impacts or vehicle wear
The warranty does not cover compensation for any charges incurred including service charges, fitting charges, loss of time, loss of vehicle, hire car charges, or any inconvenience or consequential charges as permitted by the Australian Consumer Law
