tyreconnect, Australia’s leading distributor of tyres for OEM car dealerships announced its plans for expanding nationally. Commencing business in 2015 in Perth, tyreconnect has rapidly expanded becoming the service and supplier of choice for Australia’s OEM car dealership market.
The Company has just completed a record in sales for the month of March 2021, highlighting its momentum and strong market demand.
tyreconnect now services dealerships across Australia representing most of the major OEM brands including Mitsubishi Motors Australia and Kia Motors who in 2020 appointed tyreconnect to be their national supplier underpinning the Company extending its service into regional Australia.
Kicking off its next phase of growth, TyreConnect today announced the appointment of senior automotive industry executive Mr. Tony Harris as National General Manager, Business Development, and the appointment of new sales executives to lead sales in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth.
Tony Harris is a senior sales-focused executive with a record of driving sales growth and profitability along with the ability to build high-performing teams in highly competitive automotive markets. Tony has held senior management roles with Mountain Top, Tickford, Walkinsaw Performance, and Ford Performance Vehicles.
The expanded team lead by Mr. Harris will be responsible for client acquisition and engagement across OEM car dealerships, fleet management companies, and the aftermarket.

In 2020 tyreconnect was appointed by Mitsubishi Motors Australia and Kia Motors to manage their tyre program and supply tyres to their national network of dealerships.
